It is with regret we have to announce that this year’s Basin Classic on 14th March has been cancelled due to a combination of Weather forecast for the weekend and some last minute logistical problems (We would like to stress this has nothing to do with the current health situation and that there is plenty of toilet paper in Sussex Inlet!). The Saturday sail was planned to be a social and fun event, but given the current forecast of more than 20 knots and heavy rain we don’t think it would have been much fun. We have tried to make this decision as early as we could to give as much notice as possible. If any skippers and crew are already in or on their way to Sussex, once again apologies. For those that may still be around at the weekend there will be in informal gathering inside the RSL club (not at the Fisho’s shed) during the afternoon.
