The wait is over, Regatta ’22 starts tomorrow. Social sailing in the AM if anybody wants to check out the basin or shake off the cobwebs. Weather permitting the ever popular Regatta bare foot bowls will be starting around 1.30pm in the RSL bowls green.
Saturday 5th Feb.
11 am Briefing at the RSL Fisho’s Shed (Next to Bowling green on the opposite side from the RSL).
12.55pm Race sequence start (weather permitting).
1pm Race start St Georges Basin – Basin Chase.
4pm (ish) onwards post race debrief and social back at the Fisho’s Shed
Evening – Food and Festivities back at the RSL club.
Sunday 6th Feb.
9-9.30am Informal (Unofficial) briefing at the fisho’s shed, for those not paying attention on Saturday.
10.30am meet on the water pre-start (Ch 72 VHF).
10.55am Race sequence start (weather permitting).
11am Race Start – Triangle Course.
2pm onwards post race debrief, results and maybe some prizes!
