New season rapidly approaches. Race Calendar now available, but more importantly what about the Social Calendar?
The post race BBQ and social planned for 10th December (Inside course Race 3) has now been moved forward to Saturday 12th November (Inside Course Race 2). Hosted by Andrew Bonnette and the crew of ‘Tingaround, expect good food, great company and some very dubious humour!! Contact a committee member or sailing@sibyc.com.au if you need more details.
Reason for the above change is the SIBYC Christmas Lunch and Social will now be held at the Sussex Inlet RSL Fisho’s shed, on Sunday 11th December. Featuring The Steve Miller Band*, this ever popular event will bring together club members and guests to celebrate the first half of the sailing season and some obscure Pagan midwinter festival. Food, Fun and frivolity. What more could you want. Keep checking the website and your inbox for updates.
* Please note “The Steve Miller Band” is also know as the crew of Backchat and should not be confused with a popular music act of the same name (Although apparently Steve doesn’t mind a bit of Karaoke).
